Home built Handicap Aids

Tom Jeary runs a very unique web site called Workshop Solutions where he shows off what he calls "Gadgetry Engineering". He came on to our show to show us some of his own inventions, that can be home build by any handyperson, to solve practical handicap problems. Such things like oversized buttons for the TV remote control; special handles for knives and cameras, even downhill snow skis for paraplegic children.

His site is full of these things, complete with plans. Tom's mission is to make it easy for anyone to help someone they know that has some kind of mobility challenge. He also encourages others to add new gadgets to his web site. This is a must-visit web site. www.workshopsolutions.com
