Jig Saw Blades

The most important part of a tool is it's cutting edge and a jig saw is no better than its blade. What many people don't realize is that there are a wide variety of specialized blades available for ordinary jig saws.

Hard wood, Soft wood, Hard metal, Soft metal -- those are the standards. Then there are carbide dusted blades for ceramic and glass. You can even get toothless knife blades from canvas and foam. In fact you can take any blade, like a very long 4 inch blade and grind off all the teeth to make a serrated blade for cutting foam rubber (pillows, stuffed animal forms?).
