Limitations:
-- Prone to moisture damage if soaked for periods of time.
-- Somewhat brittle.
Advantages:
-- Not a vapour barrier, so can be applied in large sheets on the outside of walls.
-- Most fire resistant of all foam insulations.
-- Rigid enough to provide backing for siding.
Applications:
-- Inside foundation walls, outside upper wall framing under siding.
