Tape Delamination

Cracks in the wall are often nothing more than the joint tape coming loose. It can be patched, perhaps without any re-painting.

Also understand that most compounds under paper tape can be reactivated with water and removed cleanly to allow you to start over.

Jon: Thanks for the segment on tape delamination. It was very helpful. I ended up watching all the videos and now understand why my previous drywall attempts have been less than satisfactory.
